We split up because I do not want to have the spouse. We are not hardcore gamblers but we play the machines once or no twice a year for fun or on holidays. My only complaint was that The Kitchen was extremely cold with their air-conditioning even though we retrieved our jackets from the car, This seems a common occurrence for establishments in the summer - full blast air when you wear less and heated up in the winter months when you are dressed warmly. I don't remember our waiter's name, but he was from Sri Lanka and was a great server who also welcomed every customer with gusto and a smile. We enjoyed our Monday steak and shrimp entree and also ordered a cobb salad. The Kitchen restaurant has specials every day ranging from steak and shrimp dinner, ribs, seafood platters etc. Since my older son had not been to the River Cree we headed over for supper. Since it was Covid, we chose not to travel outside our province and headed up to north another Marriott property. Their main restaurant's meals were great at the time-after all, it is a Marriott. We enjoyed ourselves at the complex, which also has a skating rink, a theater and many more food options on the premises. We had stayed at the River Cree Resort and Casino in Enoch, Alberta twice before.
